Here are upcoming events for our listening area. If you have an event you would like listed, there are three ways you can get it to us: via e-mail, fax, or mail. (How you can contact us) All events need to be submitted in written form (No phone calls please), and Psalm 99:5 FM reserves the right to edit or reject any announcement not in keeping with station policy.
Hibbing Area Religious Release Time Classes

Registration for Hibbing Area Religious Release Time Classes will be starting when school begins. Registration forms will be included in the opening day packets at the elementary school. Release Time classes are held on Wednedays from 12:25-1:50pm. Grades 1-2 alternate with grades 3-6 every other week. Classes will begin on October 1 for grades 3-6 and on October 8 for grades 1-2. Transportation from the schools to the participating churches is provided. Churches that are participating are the Church of Christ, First Baptist and Grace Lutheran. Rainy River District Victim Services Program

Love and Limits Classes

Beth Moore's "Believing God" Bible Study

Beth Moore's "Believing God" Bible study will begin this fall at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 93 Midway Drive, Virginia. All area women are invited to participate. Fall Kick-Off Sunday at Chisholm Baptist Church

The Chisholm Baptist Church will be kicking off another great year of ministry on Sunday, September 7 with the 10th Fall Olympiad-Training in Righteousness. Morning worship services will be held at 9:00 and 10:45. Children (ages 3 to 6th grade) and Youth Sunday school classes start at 10:45 am. There will be several adult Sunday school classes to pick from at 9:00 & 10:45 am. Nursery care is available for infants through 2 years old during the morning worship times. Plan to attend the annual Ministry Fair after the second worship service. Booths will be set up in the Fellowship Center where you will find information and displays on each of the ministries offered. Food, fun and games are planned for everyone. Freedom's Call in Concert

Southern Gospel Dinner Concert

Join Jerry & Ginger, The Songmasters, on Saturday, October 4, in celebrating their 50th year in the Gospel Music Ministry. Start the evening at 5:00 pm in the Arden Hills Great Hall with a buffet dinner of all your favorite Southern-style classics. Then enjoy an exciting evening of excellent Gospel music, testimony and fellowship with The Hoppers, whose name has been synonymous with traditional Gospel music for over three decades and have received numerous awards and national recognition. Price for a dinner ticket is $19 and needs to be ordered by September 21. Concert tickets are $20, can be ordered in advance or will be available at the door. Concert time is 7:00 pm. A Morning Out For Women

Area women are invited to "Morning Out" Bible studies on Tuesday mornings at the Chisholm Baptist Church. There will be two studies to choose from: "Seeking Him: Experiencing the Joy of Personal Revival" by DeMoss & Grissom. This study meets at 9:30 am beginning Tuesday, September 9th. La Leche League
