Women's Break Away

Talk to your friends and make plans to get away for a few days to focus on God and friendship. Come to the Women's Break Away, a ministry of Oak Hills Christian College in Bemidji. The dates are June 11-14, 2008 and the cost is just $95. Day-timers are welcome to attend for free. Singers and Handbell Choir

Youth Center

The Youth Center at the Gemmell Community Church in Gemmell is open every Friday and Saturday evening from 6:30 pm to midnight. There are adult chaperones and FREE pizza, pop, snacks, game tables, movies, friends and more. All 7th graders and up are welcome. For more information call 897-5154


Hooked On Talent

GIFT Meeting

Rainy River District Victim Services Program

Loss Support Group

DNR Open House

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources will hold an open house for the people to meet, the new Baudette area, Fisheries Supervisor, Phil Talmage and new District 1 Enforcement Supervisor, Lt. Pat Znajda. The event will be held Wednesday, May 14, from 5-7 pm at the Lake of the Woods High School in Baudette, room E-120 (ITV Room). Refreshments will be served, but no formal program is scheduled.

Echoes of Hope

Sights and sounds of Latin America will be coming to the Grand Rapids area on Thursday, May 22, when "Ecos de Esperanza" (Echoes of Hope) from Rio Grande Bible Institute will present an evening of singing, instrumental music and testimony at Calvary Pines Baptist Church. The concert will begin at 7pm. There is no cost to attend, but a free-will offering for RGBI will be taken. Calvary Pines Baptist Church is located at the intersection of County Road 62 and North Bass Lake Road, six miles north of Highway 2 at Cohasset and two miles west of Highway 38. African Children's Choir

Marble, MN Centennial

Marble, Minnesota is looking for former residents to help celebrate their Centennial July 5 and 6, 2008. Yes, 2008! But they need to know where you are now so they can better serve you. The committee has many wonderful things. The event theme will center around MARBLES. There is being planned a major antique marble display, marble games, marble history, marble exchange, and possibly a centennial marble that can be purchased. The celebration will be one to remember.
