Parenting Seminar at Baudette ECC

The Evangelical Covenant Churches of Baudette and Rainy River are co-hosting two parenting
seminars on Friday and Saturday, April 8th and 9th. The seminars will be held at the Baudette
Covenant Church. Friday's workshop will be held from 7-9 pm and is titled Understanding our
Children. Saturday's seminar is from 9 am to noon and is titled Parents as Spiritual Mentors. To

Christian Men's Weekend Retreat

Forgiveness Round 2, a Christian Men's Weekend Retreat will be held on Friday, Saturday &
Sunday, April 8-10 at The Lighthouse in Baudette. Dr. Daniel Klassen, author and counselor will
be teaching Friday evening and Saturday morning on forgiveness. Cost is $150 in advance,

Sportsman's Expo

Lutheran Women Missionary League Spring Rally

The Lutheran Women Missionary League, Iron Range Zone, will be conducting a Spring Rally on
Thursday, April 28 at Grace Lutheran Church, 4010 9th Avenue West, Hibbing. Registration
begins at 9:30 am, registration fee is $3. This year's theme is "Jesus-Living For All People".
Reverend Mark Peske will be speaking. Lunch will be served.
Comedian Dennis Swanberg at Backus Auditorium

Comedian, Dennis Swanberg is coming to Backus Auditorium in International Falls on Saturday,
May 7 at 7 pm. Dr. Swanberg has been featured on the radio ministry of Focus on the Family and
speaks across the country to encourage people from all walks of life to look at the "lighter side of
life". The event is being hosted by the Christian Parent's Association as a fundraiser for the
SACP building campaign. Discounted tickets are available until April 15. There is general
admission seating however a limited number of reserved seats are available. Tickets are
available at Borderland Esso in Emo, SCAP in Stratton and Psalm 99:5 Radio Station in
