Heartland Christian Broadcasters, Inc.
Heartland Christian Broadcasters, Inc. is a not for profit ministry dedicated to spreading the Gospel by radio. The Board of Directors, and all of the officers are dedicated volunteers, elected to oversee the ministry of radio stations KADU, KBHW, and KXBR as well as FM translators located throughout northern Minnesota.
HCBI's Mission
KADU, KBHW and KXBR are broadcast ministries of Heartland Christian Broadcasters, Inc. These stations are on the air to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ in word and song. It is our desire to evangelize the lost, nurture Christians, and inform listeners with quality teaching, music, news and public affairs programming.
HCBI's Stations
KADU 90.1 FM Hibbing, MN - KADU covers the Iron Range from its transmitter site near Hibbing. KADU broadcasts 24 hours a day, simulcasting with KBHW.
KBHW 99.5 FM International Falls, MN - KBHW covers a large part of Northwestern Ontario, Canada and northern Minnesota from its transmitter site near International Falls. The effective radiated power is 100 thousand watts, and it is on the air 24 hours a day.
KXBR 91.9 FM International Falls, MN - KXBR 91.9 FM covers the International Falls and Ft. Frances, Ontario area 24 hours a day with 1500 watts of alternative Christian music. Our mission is to broadcast the message of Jesus Christ and a Christian worldview in a language and style that Christian and non-Christian youth will respond to.
How Our Stations Operate
The operating budget for KBHW/KADU is underwritten by the gifts of our listeners. KXBR's operations budget is primarily underwritten by local businesses. We are operated under section 501c3 of the Internal Revenue Service code for non-profits.
